Moral panic is: A condition, episode, person or group of persons emerges as a threat to social values and interests.

The mass meida like to stair up, emerge and style moral panic to its audiance, people with social power are best example of this e.g. bishops,editors and political figures and MPs

 Concern- behavour in a person/group useally threatend
Volatility-short massive panics that are very short lived
Hostillity- useally towards a person or people known as 'folk devils' construted by the mass media and created as 'us' and 'them'
